  It's a government bureaucratic institution so don't expect fast and friendly service. I got decent service when applying for a visa. I did all my research well in advance and took plenty of time to complete my application perfectly. I had no problems. Others at the consulate did not do the same and were rightfully given attitude and a slight of hand. PEOPLE: when completing government forms, do it right and don't bother debating with the bureaucrat about why special rules apply to you.

  Great service! Very helpful staff. I was surprised by the quality of the service. I lived for 29 years in Brazil and I have never seen a public organization like this. Congratulations!

  The staff is ignorant and rude, and generates ill will towards Brazil. However this should come as no surprise. Brazil's tourist visa exists mainly to HARASS would-be tourists in order to pressure us to give Brazilians an easier time getting into Canada. That's actually the policy, it's called reciprocity. (as if Brazilian wages would temp Canadians to work illegally there, pretty unlikely)

  Very Helpful, Kind and generous!! If you lack any information applying the tourist visa for brazil they will help you in proper way and Visa also will get right away on day you apply!! In short very nice staff and humble towards clients!! Thanks Brazil!
